Exciting Progress

In 2019, the Cass County Historical Society purchased the former Farmers & Merchants Bank building located at 421 E. Broadway in Logansport. When the coronavirus pandemic hit, plans for the transition from the Jerolaman-Long Home to the new facility were delayed. Recently, those plans began to move forward. The executive office of the historical society is now permanently located at 421 E. Broadway. We are in the process of moving our extensive research and genealogy center into the new building. In the coming weeks, the research center will be open to the public once more. The museum will also re-open soon at the Jerolaman-Long Home located at 1004 E Market Street, Logansport. The collection will be slowly transitioned into the new building as renovations proceed.

The Cass County Historical Society looks forward to being able to share the collection and resources with the community again.
