About the event
CCHS has been working diligently to consolidate, organize and record our book collection in the Castaldi Family History Center, our library and archive service at the Cass County Museum.
We are managing our book collection according to ethical guidelines set forth by the American Alliance of Museums. We have already distributed many surplus and off-mission books to other appropriate historical societies and the Indiana State Library.
Books that we have deemed clear to sell will be made available to the public on Saturday, August 9, 2025, 8am - 12pm. All proceeds from our book sale will be restricted for use exclusively on future CCHS collections management or acquisitions.
